Today, we're gonna be taking a look at a solution for some of those heavier kayaks and the solution to this is the Rhino-Rack T-Load Assist bar. So this is gonna be a hitch mounted accessory for your 2" hitch receiver. The nice thing about it is we fold it back like this. We can go ahead and take this up, get it kind of lined up with it. And typically we have the back end kind of slide out on us, but it does come with a little pad to protect your kayak from scratches, but also allowing it not to slide around. Hello everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at the Landing Pad 26 for the Yakima SkyLine and Control Towers, this is for a quantity of two pads. Now, these landing pads will provide the mounting points for your Yakima SkyLine and Control towers, those towers we do sell separately on our website. Basically, these landing pads will install into the Yakima classic or HD tracks, and it holds your towers in place. It does include everything laid out here on the table, the two metal plates, the two bases, the two covers, the four bolts with the washers, four spacers, and a nice hex wrench for tightening them down. And these are pretty easy installation, all you have to do is take this metal plate, slide it into the Yakima classic or HD track, and then you attach the base to it. more

Hi there adventures, today we're gonna be taking a look at Yakima's line of landing pads for their SkyLine Towers. And this is what our pads are gonna look like when they're installed. You can see how they attach directly to our factory raised rails, and they're gonna give us an attachment point so we can install a Yakima roof rack on here easily. And this really nice that you've got an option like this because some people just don't like having their roof rack on all the time, 'cause adding a roof rack does cause extra drag which can cause extra noise; wind noise and various things that you may not want all the time when you're driving around. You might just want this only for when you're using it, when you're going on vacation or different trips. So this is a really quick easy way to be able to take on and off a roof rack and also just a very easy way to get a roof rack installed, because often you have to do a lot of measurements and various things to get a roof rack installed, but this is just goes to factory attachment points, so most of the work is done for you. more

You can get these in two different options, with quick release legs, or you can get the more permanent fixed arrow legs on there. The quick release will allow you to easily get this rack off, by just squeezing a couple of tabs together. And the arrow will be a more traditional removal, just like you would to any other roof rack, by loosening up your hardware. Strapping things to the hard top of your Jeep, is not only impractical, but in many cases, it's not going to be possible. more

Yakima Landing Pad 6 Review- Video
Hello everyone, Andy here from etrailer.com.Today we are taking a look at the installation of the Yakima Landing Pad 6. Today we're installing it on a 1984 Volkswagen Vanagon. This is a great option whenever it comes to mounting trays or any other type of fixed crossbar on a camper shell, or even a van like we're doing so here. .So looking at our Landing Pad 6 installed now, we have them paired with the skyline towers. If you needed to remove the lock and load tray here, or let's say we had some bars that are mounted to the top of our camper shell, or on top of our van as seen here, we can just go ahead and push down on the pressure on each side of the tower here. And that is what will allow you to move and install and re-install your tray or your bars that you have mounted on the top.So if you actually aren't using our lock and load tray and you want a cleaner, simpler look with your Landing Pad 6, there are the included covers and we can just snap that in place and it gives us a nice fit and finish.So as for the installation on this, it did seem at first it was going to be a pretty intensive task, but I found that it really overall wasn't that bad. more
